Exploring the Mind: 6-day retreat with Tucker and Kynan

Tue, 25 Mar, 12:30pm – 30 Mar, 2pm 2025 AEDT

Event description

Description

This 6-day silent meditation retreat provides an opportunity for practitioners to explore the mind and understand the interaction of Buddhist meditation practice and modern psychological tools. The silent setting provides a container to support you to go deeper into your experience, cultivating calm and clarity.

Participants will be asked to observe noble silence, meaning they will minimise interactions and not speak unless necessary, as well as power down all communication devices for the entire retreat. For more detail, see the Community Code of Conduct. The daily schedule will mostly consist of seated and walking meditation practice, as well as an evening dharma talk, opportunities to speak with the teachers individually each day, three meals, and time for rest and light exercise.

This retreat will be taught using the principles of student-centred dharma, meaning that you can explore whichever practices and techniques resonate with you. We aim to collaborate with you to further deepen and enrich your practice.

If you haven’t been on retreat with Kynan or Tucker before, we will organise a pre-retreat call to get to know you and answer any questions.
