Welcome to Sit For A Bit*, a local meditation and connection club. This is a time when we will get together to do nothing, and be with each other with no agenda.

While meditation can be good in lots of ways (stress relief, calming the nervous system, emotional resilience, untangling thoughts, shifting perception), the most important thing about meditation is is to spend a bit of time doing nothing. Counter-intuitively, this doing nothing creates space to do things, to create, or to make change. This doing nothing can feel nice when done together.
We will check in and do a few stretches or some Qigong, Kynan will lead a guided meditation, then we will take a bit of time to connect with each other (with some gentle facilitation) and Kynan will offer some thoughts on meditation. There will also be the option to get dinner together afterwards.
All levels of experience with meditation are welcome. If you are new to meditation just let Kynan know and he will give you some tips for getting started.

* Not just for sitting! Lying down, standing, walking, all body positions are also good : )
